The BFMP06 kit is built around a uniquely optimized buffer system combined with DNA-specific hydroxyl magnetic beads, forming a highly efficient nucleic acid purification workflow. After the sample is lysed in the lysis buffer, cellular components are disrupted and nucleic acids are released. Functional groups on the surface of the magnetic beads selectively bind free DNA, forming stable magnetic bead–DNA complexes.

Under an external magnetic field, the complexes undergo two precise wash steps to thoroughly remove proteins, salts, and other contaminants. Finally, high-purity genomic DNA is efficiently eluted using the elution buffer.
